Faith. Hope. Action.

OUR.DADDY.

Our Daddy, Jerry Bass was a hardworking provider and a man who lived boldly and loved without reservation. He walked with confidence, believed deeply in faith and family, and never shied away from saying “I love you.”

Whether creating masterpieces meals in  a cast-iron skillet, relaxing in his well manicured lawn with a cold one, working long days to provide for his family, he showed up fully for the people he loved.

He was one half of a dynamic duo (Demon and Coe).  His twin brother, Our Uncle James, was his first friend, his constant companion and a lifelong reflection of that unmistakable Bass swagger.

Our Daddy’s life reminds us that love should be intentional, work should be honorable and life should never be taken for granted.

When Our Dad was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer, we of course went to the internet to better understand this disease.  Hands down the most comforting source was Cathy's EC Cafe.  The site is longer active, but we have linked to it through archives and the wayback machine.  We hope you will take time and read some of the stories of survival.  Jane Pickett's story will always touch and inspire us.
